Possible: Ablation deactivates the uterine lining so that you still have cycles, there is just no period. It's still possible to become pregnant and ablation is not considered birth control.

Yes: The short answer is yes, but it may be dangerous. An ablation is designed to destroy the endometrium which is the typical site for implantation. However ectopic pregnancies occur. Which is implantion in sites other than the endometrium. I typically recommend that my patients use another form of permanent sterilization with an ablation, as ablation alone does not provide contraception.
