Best: Foods to eat are higher fiber foods, fruits & vegetables. Can also add fiber supplements like metamucil. Dink plenty of water or liquids. Avoid white bread, rice, noodles, potatoes or junk foods (or eat them in smaller amounts).

You have posted: 2 questions, one about diverticulosis and one about diverticulitis. The diet for each is different so the differentiation is important. "itis" is low fiber diet until complete resolution usually 4-6 weeks. The "osis" is high fiber diet. Can be confusing so having the right diagnosis and terminology is critical.

None, really.: The key is just high fiber diet and plenty of fluids. We used to think to avoid nuts and seeds, but studies have shown otherwise.
