Depends on complianc: White bean extract is supposed to boost metabolism and block carbohydrate absorption. However few good studies have been done and those studies show inconsistent results. Appears safe only diarrhea and other mild GI symptoms and reduction of blood sugars have been described. One study showing subjects who were very compliant with the study did show good results.
