Uncontrolled BP: When a patient who is taking 3 or 4 blood presure medicines but still has an elevated blood pressure, then they should be screened for renal artery stenosis (ras). Additionally, any individuals who are younger then 30 or older than 60 who have blood pressures in 200/100 range should also be checked.
