Depends: Plan b prevents implantation of a fertilized egg so that it passes without development, as do 80% of all fertilized eggs naturally. So it is not really an abortion. Note that evangelicals consider life to begin at conception - so who is the responsible party for those 80% spontaneously passed. Mormons believe that life begins at implantations so they support stem cell research.

No: The "abortion pill" hoopla was about ru486, which ends pregnancies that are much farther advanced. Plan b merely prevents implantation of the fertilized egg. I am glad that today's women do have a choice in spite of all the grandstanding, especially around the time of conception; most eggs probably do not implant in any case and i've heard no one say this is a major public health problem. Cheers.
