Thought this economic mess was coming under control. not sure anymore i can work to 70?

Political problem: There are many reasons for the mess. During the bush administration agencies were ordered not to enforce economic regulations which led to the crash of 2007. Congress is totally divided and has the lowest approval rating of any us congress in history. They are paralyzed by political ideologies and serious money. All of this has delayed the recovery which should have happened earlier.
