But different: Both are similar but different.In etiology fecal incontinence as seen in elderly nursing home patients , due to fecal impaction stool sweeps through. Encopreses is seen toilet trained kids hold the stool willingly or unwillingly, empty at odd places, soils the cloths, could be psychological, or neurological, and possible to to correct as they grow old.
