A member asked:

How do you get ball or chewing gum out of colon?

Not sure about ball?: Gum will pass in the usual fashion, so not to worry. A swallowed ball will depend on the size, but usually if it makes it through the rest of the intestines to the colon, it will pass as well. Things are much narrower upstream so it may get hung up above the colon. X rays might help?

Wait: Swallowed gum will very likely pass through the digestive system on its own in a couple days. If you are concerned that it has not passed, see your doctor.
