No: Hib prevents against haemophilus influenzae which is a bacteria and unrelated to the influenza virus. To protect against the flu virus the actual flu shot is needed.

No: Despite the "flu" in h.Influenza bacteria, it has nothing to do with the flu.These are different diseases.Getting a flu shot if possible will help.
