Is it possible for a womans menstruation cycle to be induced?

Yes: The use of hormones such as Progesterone and oral contraceptives both provide that function.

Hormones: Birth control pills containing estrogen and Progesterone will give her a regular monthly cycle without ovulation. A "regular" cycle, including ovulation, can be induced using a 5 or 10 day burst of Progesterone only, each month. Metformin can be used, in the case of polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos), to return her to regular cycling. In pcos, a weight loss of 10% can be effective, as well.
