How long waiting time for inguinal hernia surgery?

Variable: The timing of surgery depends on whether any pre operative evauation is necessary with other doctors, the urgency of the operation, & the surgeon's schedule. In the us, i believe that most surgeons can schedule a hernia operation within a few weeks after initial evaluation.

Depends: It depends on your symptoms, your schedule, the doctor's schedule and the operating room schedule. The more severe the symptoms, the less you should wait.

Surgery: Once you and the surgeon decided that it is necessary to have an operation they will determine the date and time of the surgery there's no specific amount of time needed to wait
