That depends: Normal vaginal discharge is called leukorrhea. It is composed of cellular debris, vaginal secretions ; bacteria ; is stimulated by ^ vaginal blood flow ; ^ estrogen. ^ is seen w ovulation ; pregnancy. It can be thin or thick ; white to yellowish. Leukorrhea usually doesn't cause an odor. If you have an odor which causes redness, itching, burning, swelling or foul odor – please have it evaluated.

No: Having a vaginal discharge is not normal but it is common. Malodorous or bloody discharges should be evaluated by a doctor. You may try an over-the-counter douche for a week to see if it solves your problem?
