No : Human papilloma virus causes (hpv ) warts on the body. Genital warts are caused by sexual contact most of the time, , some one who has warts don't have to have genital warts.

Not necessarily: Of the many dozens of hpv strains, two strains are known to cause genital warts, 2 strains that are associated with cervical cancer and far more strains not associated at this time with anything. Therefore, you can have hpv with or without having genital warts.
