Kidney problems: You may have failing kidneys. The glomerular apparactus of the kidneys may be failing. Therefore, your concentrating ability of urine is not working. By not concentrating your urine, you are loosing water and becoming thirsty. Other causes include diabetes insipidus where you don produce antidiuretic hormone and you become dehydrated. Another is conns disease wher you have hyopaldosteronism.
