It's the genes: We now cure 4 out of 6 cases of cancer (up from 2 of 6 when I was a kid), but managing baldness and other entities that are deeply embedded in development and genetic programs is still in the future. For now, there's medicines and surgery, baseball caps, or embracing masculinity and remembering that 95% of good looks is fitness, wherever you do or don't grow hair.
