Very: Blood clot in deep veins ( DVT ) is very dangerous, it is a loaded shot gun, any movement will shoot into lung., causing pulmonary embolism.

Seriouz: The seriousness of the situation is related to the chance of the clot breaking free and making it to your lungs, also known as a pulmonary embolism. This can be fatal and definitely needs treatment and close supervision by a doctor.
