A member asked:

Should we drink more water during hyponatremia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usu not plain h2O: Hyponatremia refers to low blood sodium concentration, and there are many types, but all can be cosidered low sodium relative to high water content in blood. Some is related to dehydration, and can be treated by hydration with water*sodium(like saline iv). Other types are pure excess water, and treatment includes restricting.
