How does cellulite form?

Genetic & hormonal: Cellulite is genetically inherited and exists almost exclusively in women. Hormones play a dominant role in the formation of cellulite. It is caused by fibrous connective tissue pulling down on the skin causing the underlying fat to herniate or bulge out. Breaking these fibrous bands and removing fat during liposuction does help to improve the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite: Cellulite is caused by bands under the skin that connect it to the underlying muscle. They run more perpendicular than bands in people who don't have cellulite. This results in pulling & puckering of the skin. There is a genetic component to this as well. I recommend cellulaze surgical laser for correction, as topical treatments don't work. http://www.spsboca.com/cellulaze-cellulite-removal.html.
