SEE YOUR PCP!: I think that the 1st thing to be done is to determine why you are banging your head on a wall. This is an acceleration/deceleration injury. You may apply heat to the area, along with massages & light stretching exercises. Usage of otc nsaids may be helpful. Once the pain intensity decreases, strengthening excersises will be helpful in preventing future pain, if the head banging is stopped. See pcp.
