C diff symptoms: Most common symptoms for c difficile infection is diarrhea and abdominal pain. However some people are asymptomatic carriers. Meaning having bacteria without causing any disease( diarrhea). While others who developed very severe disease called toxic megacolon may not have any diarrhea because colon is about to burst and stopped working.

Not always: Cdiff is most commonly associated with diarrhea but can be seen w/o diarrhea as well.
