Work With Your MD: Tapering off some medications may be relatively simple, while others quite complicated. First and foremost understand the reason for tapering off your medications. You must involve your physician in the decision and the process. Prematurely tapering off meds can lead to an exacerbation of the reason you are taking them. Certain meds can cause withdrawal and must be tapered slowly. Work with md.
