A member asked:

What happens after using an epipen (epinephrine)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Epipen (epinephrine): The Epipen (epinephrine) is used for serious life threatening allergic reactions. In a person afficted with one of those, it will save thier life. No harm. In a person not afflicted with a life threatening allergic event, it will increase the bp, anxiety, pulse, sweatiness but otherwise should be uneventful unless there is a history of coronary heart disease.
