What N Where is it?: There are different types of ulcers and treatments differ. Oral aphthous ulcers (cause unkown) are painful mucosal ulcerations which will heal on their own in 1 wk or so. Foot/leg ulcers as in diabetic ulcers need treatment as an open wound--often require medical intervention. Peptic ulcers can be treated with antacids and maybe antibiotic h. Pylori is the cause etc..Good luck.
