Not in the long run: Common causes of inflamed hair follicles include pityrosporum yeast (a tinea versicolor variant best handled with antifungals) and having a particular type of beard (even the military lets these guys grow a beard). Triamcinolone is an immunosuppressant and might not be the best treatment long-run. Folliculitis and acne are actually known side-effects of topical triamcinolone.
