Poison Oak Rash: It depends. Since it is a contact dermatitis, the important thing is to clean the site and pat dry (no scrubbing). Apply soothing cool packs and you can use topical anti-itch creams so long as the skin is not weeping or open. Should resolve within 72 hours.
