Person or animal: Scabies is an infection with a small parasite that lives underneath the skin. It is caught from another person or hair bearing mammal dog, cat horse. There is usually 4 week incubation period.It is very itchy at night and affects certain arras wrist nipples genitalia ankles. Treatment is curative with elimite, (permethrin) or occasionally if necessary kwell lotion.
