Congenital Nevus: A bathing trunk nevus is a common term used to describe a giant congenital nevus. These large moles or birthmarks are present at birth and can cover the entire trunk (like a one piece bathing suit). There is in increased chance of developing melanoma in these lesions compared to smaller moles. These children should be evaluated by a dermatologist.
