Extreme high: Abnormally and consistently elevated mood (or irritable mood) lasting at least 1 week. Increased impulsiveness, excessive indulgences (drugs, spending, sex), inflated sense of self esteem, increased productivity or goal direction, decreased need for sleep, extremely talkative, easily distracted, racing thoughts. The episode interferes with functioning.
