Consider a consult: Most doctors recommend an 18 year old keep trying for up to one year; speaking for myself as an re and most specialists, you could probably benefit from a professional fertility consultation, even if for nothing more than reassurance.

Be patient: The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy is 6 mo with a range from weeks to a year or more. After a year the expense & hassle of a fertility consultation & workup of both partners can be worthwhile. Be aware that many insurance plans do not cover fertility associated visits or treatment.
