My husband as allergies that keep him up at night and we don't have insurance is there anything he can take over the counter?

Yes: Claritin (loratadine), an antihistamine, may be a good over the counter medication for his allergy symptoms.

Several medicines: Claritin (loratadine), zyrtec (cetirizine), or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be quite helpful--look for generics which are a bit cheaper. Make sure that you have good furnace/ac filters to trap many of the allergens. Minimize exposure to cats/dogs which maybe causing his problem. Do some good nasal rinses/cleaning few times a day, especially before bed etc.. I hope these will provide him some help. Good luck.
