Breast or bottle: Breast fed kids can poo a little smear every feed or fill a crib with soft poo once a week. The variability in their stooling pattern is quite wide.Bottle fed kids usually get into a daily routine involving 1-2 stools a day by the end of their first week. See your pcp if this doesn't fit your situation.

Baby bowel habits: Yes! babies can 'poop' every third day to 15 times in a day. As long as, baby is not fussy, belly is soft, eating fine and gaining weight; nothing to worry about.
