How safe is flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) and gabapentin?

Very safe.: Both meds when used as directed are very safe. Your prescriber should know about adjusting doses for renal clearance. Sometimes Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) can be sedating but this seems to vary a lot. Gabapentin can also be mildly sedating.

TOGETHER?: I am unclear as to whether you mean are these two medications safe in general of taken together? Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is a muscle relaxer and can make you drowsy. Gabapentin is in the anti-convulsant class of drugs and is used for seizure control and also for neuropathy. Gabapentin can also make you drowsy so you have be cautious when taking together that you do not fall asleep unexpectedly.
