Yes.: Chlamydia infections can occur in the mouth/throat, the vagina, and/or the rectum/anal area depending on which area the sexual contact involved. Regardless of location, this infection still requires treatment with antibiotics and any of the locations can be tested to know if there is a chlamydia infection present.
