VenaCava compression: It sounds like you were compressing the vena cava (large vein returning blood to your heart). This causes your heart to race, dizziness, & numbness like you described. The abdominal pain might have been from your child causing a uterine cramp from sitting on you. Try not laying flat on your back, no more 8-month olds jumping on your chest & let your OB know if it continues or worsens.
