Skin moisturizers: Keratosis pilaris is genetic disorder involving the maturation process of your hair follicles. Nothing gets rid of it, but tends to improve as you get older. Dry weather makes it worse and so moiturizers can soften the skin making it less bumpy. If severe, you may need to see doc for some meds--often retinoid-type of topicals may help. It is very common and medically harmless. Good luck.
