See an orthopedist: You definitely need a consultation with an orthopedist and have some imaging of your knee as well as some nerve conduction studies to see if there is any nerve damage.

Nerve entrapment: The burning sensation of your toes is related to the injury sustained to the common peroneal nerve. See your orthopedist or physiatrist for a more appropriate diagnosis. Physical therapy will help alleviate symptoms as well as proper shoes and allowing time to heal.
