Of course: You will heal, you may have decreased range of motion though. Rehab, rehab, rehab when the cast comes off.

Most likely: With proper care and rehabilitation it should be fine..Be sure and follow with your orthopaedic surgeon.....Remember, however, as you get older, healing takes longer...Be patient and careful and follow your docs directions.
