Stretch & massage: Heat stretch and massage. Magnesium is also vital. It will help relax the associated muscles, decrease stress, stabilize sleep and help other meds and therapy to work efficiently. Self or profess massage, chiropractor, yoga, heat, stretching all are needed. My favorite in my practice is acupuncture and myofascial tissue release. Take b-complex 100 too.

Depends: There are many causes of back pain. The treatment will depend on your specific type. Please see your md for specifics to your case. In general, lower back pain is best treated with stretching, weight control/loss, core muscle/ligament strengthening through physical therapy, and even pain meds and injections.

That depends: The best way to know how to relieve back pain is to determine the cause. This requires medical evaluation. In the meantime, there are many options. Stretching, heat from a shower or heating pad (be careful to avoid getting burned), massage, manipulation/ alignment & acupuncture are some of those. Physical therapy, surgery & medications (i.e. NSAID's or muscle relaxants) are sometimes advised.
