T-cell NHL: The prognosis for t-cell non-hodgkin's lymphoma (nhl) vs. B-cell nhl depends on multiple factors, but in general t-cell nhl has a worse prognosis. One reason is that b-cell, cd20+ nhl can be treated with the anti-cd20 monoclonal antibody Rituximab in addition to chemotherapy. We currently don't have such an effective, low toxicity antibody (biologic treatment) for t-cell nhl.

There are: Multiple types of b and t cell nhl. That said, as a generality t cell nhl has a worse prognosis.

It depends...: It depends heavily on the exact subtype since multiple categories of b and t-cell lymphoma exist. Very generally and with many exceptions, t-cell lymphomas represent a higher risk then b-cell lymphomas.
