Right question?: Are you sure you mean "spinal cord stretches"? The spinal cord can bend and twist, but not only would you damage your spinal cord by truly stretching it, truly stretching it is probably impossible without applying so much external traction you'd also rupture a lot of joints and muscle attachments. Ever hear of a device called the rack? The tightness is most likely just muscular.
