A member asked:

Can i still grow at the age 18 i'm currently 17 and a month and a week away from being 18 my current height is 5, 7 and two centimeters away from 5, 8?

Likely not: With few exceptions most boys and girls are done growing by the time they're about 17. The hormones of puberty facilitate not only growth but also the maturation and closure of growth plates, which are mostly fused by this time. Few kids with significant pubertal delays might still have a little growth left by 17, but this is very unusual.

Maybe : Males can grow until 21 yrs of age, but health, endocrine status, nutrition and family history are the major determinents of ultimate height.
