Whatever you need: Hospitals will provide for your medical needs, but you may bring other things to ease you stay. Many patients bring their own toiletries, make-up, a change of clothes and a bath robe. Some bring laptops and music players. Our hospitals baylor medical center of irving and thr harris methodist heb provide free wifi. I have even seen people bring their own pillows or favorite blankets.

A hospital bag: A picture id, a birth plan, insurance information, camera, cell phone and charger pen, paper personal hygienic items (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, shampoo, lip balm, lotion, etc) socks, slippers, nightgown, warm clothes relaxation tools (music, video, book, candy) eyeglasses maternity bras ( for nursing) money ( for vending machines).
