Late period: Why not get a pregnancy test? That will tell you if you are pregnant. Tests are over the counter and can be bought in a drugstore.

Yes: Sometimes a urine pregnancy test can be falsely negative if preformed too early or on a very dilute specimen. A first morning urine is the most specific & should be accurate 23 wks after exposure. If your symptoms are truly from a pregnancy they would be related to the same chemicals in the body that turn the test positive. There are many other reasons someone can be late.
