A member asked:

Can i exercise with inspiratory strider?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on cause...: If the cause of stridor is viral, as in a bad case of laryngitis, or in a child with croup, then exercise would make the person sicker and might be dangerous. The same goes for bacterial causes of stridor. If the cause is exercise-induced-stridor (eis) or paradoxical-vocal-cord-dysfunction (pvcd) in an otherwise healthy athlete, then exercise is ok but he should get treatment from specialists.
