How likely is it to be pregnant after a pregnancy test? i took it when my period was more than a week late.

Still possible: No medical test is ever 100% accurate. As such, there exists the possibility of being pregnant despite a negative pregnancy test. Follow up with your family doctor or gynecologist if you continue to not have your period, or you have continued concern of pregnancy.

Agree with Dr, C: If you did the test correctly, it was negative at one week after missed period, the likelihood of pregnancy is remote, If you have any concern, get a blood test for HCG level.
