Hot packs : There is no good drug. But if her mom is willing to try hot packs: fill a clean sick w dried beans. Heat in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Voila! instant heat pack. I would apply the hot pack to the lid for 8-10 minutes three times a week until the stye is netter. If that doesn't work, she may need surgery.
