Lymph node: What you are describing sounds like a lymph node. More than likely that is due to an infection. If it is not tender or if it fails to resolve over the next couple of weeks i would have your dr. Look at it. Make sure you do not have any history of stds. If you do then see your dr. For evaluation.

Be seen: It sounds like a hernia, but you should be seen for an exam and diagnosis. It could also be a lymph node.
