Anovulation?: If your doctor has started you on metformin, my assumption is that you are either not ovulating, have Insulin resistance or both. Its a hard question and one that can only be answered accurately if you are in fact regular. Otherwise, we are at the mercy of of ovulatory kits. If you have a positive surge with an OPK than you should have intercourse the following 2 days after a positive test.
