Possibly: If your depression was/is related to another medication you were taking, it may gradually remit after the offending medication is stopped. However, your case may be complicated for other reasons -- so please work with your own physician on this to make sure things go in a positive direction for you, if not, things can be addressed promptly.

Probably: I think you're asking if you took a medicine and got depressed, would it go away? It is unusual for a side effect like depression to linger beyond the therapeutic level of the medicine. If the feeling persists, you should contact your doctor.
