Common, but monitor: Bleeding after a pap smear when pregnant can be very normal. There is a dramatic increase in blood supply to the uterus in pregnancy, thus any irritation can have a more dramatic response. Having said this, an ultrasound at about 7 weeks showing you the babies heartbeat would go a long way to eliminating your concerns.
